The 269 Heat Shield Filter from LEE Filters is designed for use over a light fixture before any other filter that is intended to create a visible effect. When the transparent 269 Heat Shield Filter is applied, no additional coloration or contrast is created, and it serves to absorb heat that could otherwise damage or discolor a visible effect filter placed over it. This filter is constructed from polyester that is heat resistant to 356°F and is delivered as a 48" x 25' roll on a 1" core.

Under 6774K Source C light, the filter exhibits a 0.04 density and transmits light at 91%.
