    What’s New?

    Showroom

A few words about new products in the showroom:

Freshly restocked and sitting hot on the shelves, we have lots of Hypercore NEO 9 Mini 98Wh ready and waiting for you. These V-Mount battery packs are now firmware upgradable, able to be checked via mobile app, and have an integrated “Smart” p-tap connector to allow users to power any 12vdc device while also receiving all battery data from the port.

Pairing nicely with the Neo 9 Mini, we also just stocked up on some new Core SWX GP-X2S charging mounts. The X2 charger series features an upright design, a lightweight, plastic housing, and offers simultaneous 2A charging as well a “Fleet Rapid Charge” bay (which can charge one 98kh pack in under 2.5 hours). It’s the perfect travel buddy as its trickle charge maintenance program ensures the batteries are always at maximum capacity, and it is compact enough to fit into a camera bag yet versatile in addressing all batteries simultaneously.

Just two years ago, Aputure released their LS C300d, and now they’ve come out with their new and improved LS C300d II! This new light is 20% brighter, more durable, more portable, and more intelligent than the original. Some notable features of the 300d II are its 360° rotation, an all-in-one ballast, quick release clamp, dual wireless control, and so much more. Come pick one up from our rental department and see what else these lights have to offer!

The Astra 6x Bi-Color LED Panels are the latest in the 1x1 form factor lights in the Litepanels family and now put out 6 times as much light as the original. Horoscopes

When humanity seems to be failing you, seek knowledge from the stars:

Aries: I know your kid’s holiday showcase doesn’t sound like the ideal video gig, but I can assure you: it’s not. Don’t say yes.

Taurus: Watch out for that robotic camera arm, once that thing starts swinging, it’s coming for you.

Gemini: Carol from crafty’s been keeping her eye on you… you better keep an eye on your cup of noodles, too.

Cancer: Get your editing chair nice & cozy. I heard a lot of “they’ll fix it in post” going on.

Leo: Remember how the Titanic ended? That’s where your My Little Pony live-action remake’s production is heading. Jump off now.

Virgo: Cheese puff might sound delicious after your 5-hour stretch of gaffing, but remember that Carol from crafty is notorious for not checking expiration dates.

Libra: When you think that your 14 hour filming day is rough, just remember the time Dave got trampled during his bulls of Pamplona shoot.

Scorpio: Shoot your shot, maybe the star of this shoot really does feel that same way about you as they did with their other 20 sex scandals.

Sagittarius: That kind LA stranger may have offered you a leading role in their new series, but beware when they tell you its primary shooting location is the seedy motel down the street.

Capricorn: Branch out and make some new friends on set, maybe that stunt double will fall for you as hard as they fell over that 15-foot balcony.

Aquarius: When the AD tells you to suit up, he means the Barney suit. Congratulations, you’re getting promoted to the big leagues.

Pisces: Keep those sunglasses on, the DPs obsession with Quasars will be your retinas worst enemy.
